Studio Wayne McGregor: Artist in Residence – QuestLab

Laura Kriefman was picked to represent the South West as a QuestLab Artist in Residence at Studio Wayne McGregor.

This amazing initiative, set up by Jasmine Wilson and Wayne McGregor brought together 10 choreographers working in Movement and Technology across varied danceforms. 

The group were together for a fortnight in November, before another day in February 2019. Collaborations are kicking off left, right and centre!

The first Questlab cohort are:
Tony Adigun – Founder and Artistic Director of the cutting edge hip-hop company Avant Garde Dance.
Katie Dale-Everett – Independent Cross-Genre Dance & Film Artist, Creative Arts Producer, Teacher and Performer.
Rebecca Evans – Choreographer and Artistic Director of digital dance performance company Pell Ensemble.
Nathan Geering – combining neuroscience, psychology and dance with the Rationale Method.
Tom Hobden – Choreographer, Artistic Director of UNIT and national leader in community dance practice.
James Middleton – Freelance Dancer/Teacher/Choreographer specialising in dance engagement projects.
Zach Walker & Jennifer Irons – Founders of makeAMPLIFY, who use art, movement and digital technology to inspire people and create meaningful experiences for audiences.
Kerryn Wise – Movement-based artist, researcher and performer.
